Aangan Drama Release Date & Time
Aangan is officially returning to HUM TV on 2 October 2026. The new schedule announced by HUM TV is:
Friday & Saturday

Only on HUM TV
HUM TV shared the announcement through its official social media, confirming that Aangan will begin on 2 October and air every Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM.
The timing is particularly important for viewers searching for Aangan Drama 2026 because the drama is returning in a regular television slot rather than being presented only as an old drama online.
The original Aangan was broadcast from 2018 to 2019, so the 2026 presentation is a return of the existing drama rather than a newly produced sequel or remake.
Aangan Drama 2026 Story
Aangan is based on Khadija Mastoor’s famous Urdu novel and is set against the backdrop of the pre-Partition period. The story revolves around family relationships and the different personalities living within the same family environment. At the centre of the story are characters who experience love, disagreements, family pressure, and changing circumstances.
The political and social environment also shapes the characters’ personal lives. Aangan does not simply focus on historical events. Instead, it shows how major societal changes affect ordinary people and their relationships.
Love becomes an important part of the story, particularly through the relationships involving Jameel, Aaliya, and Chammi. The characters have different ideas about life and their future, which creates emotional conflicts between them.
As the story progresses, relationships become more complicated, and characters have to deal with situations that are often beyond their control. The family setting is therefore central to the drama.
The title Aangan itself refers to the traditional courtyard of a home, and the story uses this family environment to explore relationships, emotions, and changing social values.
The period setting also gives the drama a distinctive atmosphere, with traditional clothing, language, family customs, and the social environment of the time playing an important role. For viewers who enjoy Pakistani dramas with family stories and historical settings, Aangan offers a combination of both.

For viewers who watched the drama during its original run, the OST is likely to bring back memories of the original broadcast. People’s Reviews
Aangan has continued to remain a topic of interest because of its cast, story, and literary source. The 2026 return has especially attracted attention because of the reunion of familiar faces such as Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, Ahsan Khan, and Mawra Hocane. HUM TV’s recent teaser and promotional posts have brought the drama back into discussion among Pakistani drama viewers. The renewed promotion also means that audiences who were not familiar with Aangan when it originally aired now have an opportunity to discover the drama through HUM TV’s 2026 broadcast.
Our Opinion
Aangan has several elements that make its return interesting for Pakistani drama viewers. The first is its ensemble cast. Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, Ahsan Khan and Mawra Hocane are among the actors who continue to attract attention from drama audiences.
The second is the period setting. Unlike many contemporary Pakistani dramas, Aangan takes viewers into an earlier period and explores family life during an important time in the region’s history.
The story also combines historical circumstances with relationships, making the drama more focused on its characters rather than only on political events.
The return is particularly interesting for viewers who enjoy watching older Pakistani dramas again, while younger audiences can experience the story for the first time.
